How To Calculate Working Days?

How To Calculate Working Days - Did you know that Excel can calculate working days, ie Saturday and Sunday day out ...?

Easy ..! Syntax is:

NETWORKDAYS (start_date, end_date, holidays)


Try to type in:

1. cell A1 date (mm / dd / yy) 01/01/10

2. cell A2 date (mm / dd / yy) 10/01/10

3. cell A3 date (mm / dd / yy) 01/01/10

4. B1 formula =NETWORKDAYS(A1,A2)

Results: 6 (Excel only count on 1, 4-8 January 10)

5. cell B2 formula =NETWORKDAYS(A1,A2,A3)

Result: 5 (Excel only count on 4 to 8 January 10 because data on the A3 is calculated as a holiday.)
